While God Almighty may test us to succeed to His glory, the devil tempts us to fail before God. WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER PROVERBS 24:16, "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief." You are a success because God has made you so, regardless as to what you are going through. He is your guarantor of success through the faith of the Lord Jesus Christ, as faith is God's WARRANTY THAT GUARANTEES that what He promised you has happened already! Praise the Lord.

The anatomy of trials
That sets the stage for our teaching beginning in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." Let's break this down a bit. YOUR TEMPTATIONS OR TRIALS ARE COMMON TO MAN. The Word says every temptation you pass through is not unique to you, as ugly as it feels. It's good to have the understanding that the same word is used for TRIAL as well as for TESTING. Many times you don't feel the difference because of the pain and anguish of the experience at that moment. It was Job who said in Job 3:25, "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me." Every situation is not 'Jobian', but God is faithful to deliver you and me from all our tribulations, as the Bible says in Psalms 34:19, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all."

But God is faithful
We will now proceed to the second part of 1 Corinthians 10:13. God is TRUSTWORTHY. God is RELIABLE. Faithful has the same root word as Faith, and it literally means FULLNESS OF FAITH. So we can trust Him using His fullness of faith given to us, because He is fully persuaded about His promises to us. That's why we have God continuously bringing life to necrosed or dead situations and continuously calling into being things that are not yet existent as though they were, in Romans 4:17, "(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were."

God will not allow you to be tempted or tried beyond…
"…who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;…" God will not allow you to be tried or tested beyond what He gives you POWER FOR. He gives you the power for that trying moment, Praise God! Walk in yieldedness to the Holy Spirit for that power, when the flesh is weak. Notice how Jesus puts it in Mark 14:38, "Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak." The NIV says, "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." We are asked to WATCH AND PRAY so when the temptation comes, we will not fall. The reason is that the spirit is "READY-TO-GO", but not the weak flesh. The Word says in Galatians 5:16, "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." We must also add Romans 8:13 here, "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." Praise Jesus.

God's success and successful way out of trials and temptations
…"but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,…" God Almighty provides a success and successful way of escape from that difficulty. The HELPS Word-Studies calls it "the (successful) way out". Did you know that our Father has a plan for your success to have a successful way out of that temptation or tribulation or test or trial? When does this happen? The Bible says with the temptation or trial itself. Along with, together with the trial or tribulation! We just got to yield to the blessed Holy Spirit, walking in the spirit to receive a revelation of this SUCCESSFUL WAY OUT. Look at what Joseph said to his brothers who sold him to slavery in Egypt, in Genesis 50:20, "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive." A Prime Minister in a strange land from being sold as a slave and for doing no wrong. Look with me at the Scripture in Deuteronomy 8:16, "Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end." There is a SUCCESSFUL LATTER END GOOD FOR YOU IN EVERY TRIAL, TEMPTATION, AND TRIBULATION, IN JESUS' NAME!

So that you can stand up under it
Amen and Amen, and not just that — let's go to the last part of 1 Corinthians 10:13. "…that ye may be able to bear it." The Greek Lexicon puts this as not just a successful way out, but a successful way out SO THAT WE HAVE THE POWER TO STAND UNDER, OR ENDURE, OR BEAR UP UNDER IT. That's the hard part of everything. To endure! The great part of this is that the successful way out comes with the power to endure.

Let's deal with the thoughts and thinking during trials — we need to practice Faiththinking
For this here we must turn to James 1:2-4, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." James says the LEADING THOUGHT OR LEADING THINKING, THE GOVERNING THOUGHT OR GOVERNING THINKING, during a trial or temptation must be JOY. That cheerfulness that comes from the awareness or consciousness of God's grace upon our lives. FROM JAMES' EPISTLE, WE ARE TO BE GOVERNED BY A DIFFERENT TYPE OF ATTITUDE, THINKING, OR THOUGHTS DURING ANY TRYING TIME. WE THEN HAVE TO YIELD TO THE HOLY SPIRIT TO HELP US, SO AS TO BE DOMINATED AND GOVERNED BY THOUGHTS OF JOY IN OUR FAITHTHINKING WALK OF FAITH!

Rejoicing in and the benefits of trials: James 1:3-4
"Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." These Scriptures help us to know the benefits of any trial… patience or perseverance which we must allow, the Word says, to finish its work that makes us mature and complete, lacking nothing. Romans 5:3-5 also sheds additional light on that understanding here, "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." Paul encourages us here to REJOICE, HOLD OUR HEADS UP HIGH in that very difficult testing and trying time, knowing that the suffering will produce perseverance and perseverance, character and character, hope. This hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit that He has given us. Praise the Lord!

The Apostle Paul and his trials, even as the greatest expositor of the faith of Jesus in the New Testament
When you face those very difficult moments, remember Jesus and remember Paul the Apostle, and stand victorious in Jesus' name. Let's conclude by REMEMBERING TO PRACTICE USING THE ANATOMY OF TRIALS IN OUR FAITHTHINKING LIFESTYLE OF FAITH FOR OUR GREAT SUCCESS. And let's read together from 2 Corinthians 11:22-33: "Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I. Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
