With Galatians 2:20 — "the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God" — we see a summation: to live the God kind of life and walk by faith continuously. This faith has its beginning in a person, the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.

How To Walk By Faith
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 2 Cor 5:7 THE "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:3 HOW TO WALK BY FAITH Good blessed day to you in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that the Word teaching that you receive today will bring you healing, deliverance and prosperity in your Faiththinking walk of Faith with our Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name! We will begin by examining two scriptures today in 2 Cor. 5:7 and Gal.2:20: 2 Cor.5:7, "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)" and Gal. 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." In both references, we see a summation to LIVE the GOD KIND OF LIFE and WALK by FAITH CONTINUOUSLY. This faith has its beginning in a person, the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let's look at Rom. 10:17, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." The Greek New Testament and other translations say that Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the SPOKEN WORD OF CHRIST! Faith is NOT HUMAN BELIEF! Faith is NOT HUMAN CONFIDENCE! Faith is NOT AN ASSUMPTION! Faith is NOT A DELUSION! Faith is NOT CONFUSION! Faith ORIGINATES FROM and is FOUNDED by JESUS as its CHIEF LEADER. He therefore must ORIGINATE, FOUND and CHIEF LEAD our faith. That's the lexical meaning of the word "AUTHOR" in Heb. 12:2, "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Jesus directs our faith
JESUS DIRECTS OUR FAITH Jesus is God! He has to FOUND that faith and CHIEF LEAD it, not you and not me. By leading that faith he directs us as the Chief Leader of our faith as to HOW THAT FAITH HAS WORKED OR IS WORKING OR WILL WORK so we can see and receive it as the same faith causes our minds…thoughts, feelings, emotions, reasoning, imaginations and will to also receive it and be on the same page as His faith in that situation as in Heb. 11:3, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." That is how FAITHTHINKING ties into our faith, so the enemy cannot attack us in our THINKING, in our thoughts, or MIND with fear and anxiety to cause us to be weakened in our walk of Jesus' faith. Jesus is also the FINISHER OF OUR FAITH, in the same scripture in Heb. 12:2., meaning the COMPLETER, the CONSUMMATOR of our faith. He begins it and He completes it and our eyes and gaze must be fixed on Him for this. Praise God Hallelujah! This takes us to Phil. 1:6 that says, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" You bet He will complete what He starts in us including that sparkle of faith in us that comes from Him. Now because He leads and directs this faith, we can understand what James says about faith in James 2:26, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." Some have gone off on a tangent to do 'work' or 'works' that Jesus did not originate, found, or chief lead, only to feel frustrated and blame God when there is no success because Jesus didn't finish or complete for them, what He did not start in the fifirst place! James says to get the work that comes with the faith so faith is not dead. Seek the Lord for the work that must be directed by Jesus so faith and its work must work together. This is even further explained as we read James 2:22, "Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?". The phrase 'faith wrought with' will need some emphasis here. Faith was working continuously in Father Abraham together with his works and that faith was completed by his works. Thayer's Greek Lexicon puts it this way, "to put forth power together with and thereby to assist". SO FAITH CONTINUOUSLY PUT FORTH POWER TOGETHER WITH AND THEREBY ASSISTED HIS WORKS.

The work of God is faith in Jesus
Our Jesus' faith continuously puts forth power together with and thereby assists the work that goes with our faith to complete it. yet and I received instantaneous healing after the doctors diagnosed me with kidney failure. We do not know what work we must do as a consequence of that faith without going to Jesus the originator and completer of our faith who says BELIEVING OR FAITH IN HIM IS THE WORK OF GOD in John 6:29. Look with me at what the Bible says in John 6:28-29, "28Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." So the work James is speaking about is BELIEVING OR EXERCISING FAITH IN JESUS WHO DIRECTS US IN THAT TOGETHER POWER TO ASSIST THE WORK THAT'S NEEDED TO MAKE FAITH COMPLETE. Praise the name of the Lord! No need to go off on a tangent without Jesus originating, directing that faith so it can cause together power assisting the accompanying work as He completes our faith for that miracle we are believing for. The work may range from praising Him to standing still to see His salvation or something else as He directs. One of mine was the Lord leading me to throw away all the peritoneal dialysis equipment that I hadn't even started using In verse 29 of John chapter 6, and in James 2:26, the Bible uses the same word in the Greek for work which is ERGON. James uses the same word for work that Jesus also uses. JESUS says therefore and defines the WORK OF GOD as BELIEF OR FAITH IN HIM! Praise God, the work in James 2:26 can only happen as we seek and yield to faith of and faith in Christ Jesus our Lord. Not our work but faith in Him who causes, directs, and completes our faith work that must accompany each faith walk that Jesus originates and completes.
